When we embarked on our Portugal property offering, little did we know it would culminate in so much interest from our clients and instigated a whirlwind trip of the whole of Portugal!

High up on our priority list has been to make sure our precious clients will be receiving the same attention and trust we offer them here in Cape Town, through working with our Agents in Portugal.

We started in Lisbon and met with our lovely colleagues from Homelovers Agency,  situated centrally in Chiado and we touched base with the very efficient ladies  from Caiado Guerreiro, who are tax specialists in Estrellia.  We absolutely love Lisbon, it is such a sexy city with so much to offer in terms of investment. Whilst the sentiment is that the market is cooling slightly, there is still great investment buy’s with good returns if you do your homework properly, which is where we come in!

From Cascais, Comporto to Porto we discovered many opportunities and different offerings. Porto is a really beautiful city with a very gentle feel, beautiful buildings, great investments and a whole new neighborhood emerging on the other side of the river in Gaia. The Duoro region is where all the wine and Port emanates from, where we met Rui from Homelovers Agency, who is a great match for an astute property investor.

Our next stop was the Algarve, where we decided to explore in depth.  The weather is good all year round and it has its own unique personality. We visited Odimera up the west coast where one of our friends has just invested. We visited Lagos – a gorgeous Old Town with a surfer feel –  definitely a surfers choice, as well as some really beautiful waterfront properties. Next stops were Tavira close to the Spanish border, Faro, Loule, Sagres, Odemira, Monchique, Lagos, Portimao, Silves (one of our favorites) Vale De Lobo (golf courses and lots of developments) Vilamoura with its large marina (which could be Cape Town’s waterfront), Olhao, Fuzeta, Sao Bras, Estoi, Albuferra …

We traveled with such joy, enjoying so many interesting sights, the great food and accumulating information about what the different areas have to offer.

We are now ready to share our knowledge with you! Call us for a chat, we can offer you many unique services depending on your needs.
